About us

Oz Eco Tours is a small exclusive company in the business of empowering people to seek out their own experiences on country. We are a movement and bring or own culture to counter over-tourism and its negative impacts on the environment and people. Our goal is purely to empower you to connect with our country through a series of positive, lifechanging experiences.
We are owned and operated by our team of dedicated and talented guides; we are an Australian company who re-invests in supporting programs and people who engage in empowering humanity and effecting positive change.
Our founder, Billy Hall, Ngarritj of the Yirritja dreaming, has spent decades travelling and now guiding all over Australia, seeking out deep connections with Nature and the ancient culture of our First Nations Peoples.
It is this collective experience that Oz Eco Tours is built upon, bringing exclusive style experiences to our clientele with carefully selected locations that silo us away from the crowds and large tourist providers.

Our purpose

Empower people to explore and self-explore, to be at peace with the natural environment and discover true culture through connection, education, and experiencing the mental and physical healing properties of being on country.
We want to showcase an authentic Australian experience, deep diving and exposing complex issues that aren’t on any tourist brochures whilst sharing its natural wonders and a hopeful future.

   We strongly believe in the mental and physical well-being benefits of connecting and being immersed in nature, in fact we know this to be true through lived experience and this is maybe the greatest experience we can offer you.

   We support and showcase like-minded social impact companies involved in bettering our planet one forward movement at a time and we would love to introduce you to them.

We do not view tourism as an industry where profits should continually be moved off country through large international companies, effectively closing the loop for self-determination, with little thought of their impact on our peoples and environment and ultimately your experience.

Empowering people to start their own tour guiding businesses under Oz Eco Camps and Tours banner is a critical component of our growth strategy and how we hope to set and redefine the standard in outdoor touring.
